Hey family!

This week was absolutely amazing! so many miracles happened this week!

Monday I had my first i don:t want to leave here feeling. We taught the members we do fhe with every monday. we had a good discussion about hope. there was such a sweet spirit there. LEaving i just felt so good. That is when it came that I don:t ever want to leave!

Tues we taught a member who wanted to take some lessons. She came back after being inactive for about a year. It went ok but she already knew everything we taught which was different then the other lessons we teach.

Wed was the trainer trainee meeting in okayama. we had to wake up at 430 to catch our train. we had to switch trains twice and only had a few minutes to do so. We made it on time and with no problems thanks to heavenly fathers help. There were really nice people to help us know where to go and the japanese missionary here wrote all the directions out for us as well. There we talked about the atonement and something zinke kaicho talks about red door and blue door power. red door is the cleansing power of the atonement and blue door is the enabling power. We talked about how we can get the blue door power. Through humblying ourselves more than ever before, asking for the power, and getting to work. We really tried doing this the rest of the week and miracles came.

On thurs we were able to meet with the lady who is 80 yrs old. she said she was busy but she would make time for us. something she didn:t do before. We just sang hymns with her. We felt we needed to go a little slower with her and it worked out because she said we can come back and set a date.

Then we had a lesson at a members house with a members friend. it was really far away so we were hurrying to get there on time. On the way owens shimai chain fell off. It got caught and we couldn:t get it uncaught. I was trying so hard and saying so many prayers. finally i was able to get it uncaught and back on. we rushed to the appointment and made it on time. the only problem was my hands were all greasy but I cleaned them up and we were good to go. Yes greg be proud my hands got greasy.  The members made pita bread chilli and normal stuff that would go on tacos. It was basically mexican food and it was soooo good. mexican food here is very rare. i have missed it so much. The lesson went good and we are going to see if she will meet with us again this week. We hope so!

Fri we had a dendo meeting. We planned a game night on friday of this week and hope we can find more people that way. The branch even said we should do game night every week so hopefully it goes well and get people interested and have fun.

Sat we saw a miracle happen. we went to go see that investigator we meet 2 weeks ago and who came to church. however we were not able to contact her for 2 weeks. So we decided to go streeting. Owens shimai felt we should cross the street. we did and a minute later we say that investigator. We set a meeting up for yesterday and she came to that as well. She said her first prayer and it was so cool to witness. It was awesome.

That night the members who bring us food took us and 23 others in the ward out to a hotel for dinner. We had a room all to ourselves and had chinese food. IT was soo good! we had orange chicken, shrimp, jello, and mushroom soup. Owens shimai doesn:t like jello so I had to eat hers as well. It was good I was just so full. IT was fun riding back and being so full! The members here are so nice though and the hotel and food was amazing!

I know that with the Lord on our side we get to witness miracles everyday! what a great thing to be a part of!

I love you all and hope you have a great week.
Love,
shelton shimai
